Faith and Prayer-Does He hear me?

This past Sunday we had a great lesson focused on faith, prayer and if we feel heard by God. There was great discussion and lots of insight by many! We discussed when we've struggled, what has helped our faith grow, how God has answered certain prayers, whether God always answers our prayers, praying God's will and making it ours, and building faith in God's ability to move mountains. Thank you to all of you who opened up and shared personal testimonies of how you've seen God work in your lives and also to those who shared struggles you've faced and how God has rebuilt, or is rebuilding, your faith.

Luke 17:5-6

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
Mark 11:22-24
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
